We were founded in 1991 in Valencia (Spain) and at present with over 6,000 members all over Spain, are the leading organisation in our country specialised in administering pharmaceutical aid to humanitarian organisations and developing countries.
In April 2001 Farmamundi was recognised by Spanish government as Association of Public Interest.
During the last 7 years we have either donated or supplied more than 500 TM of medicine which has been sent to more than 80 countries around the world, either directly by us or in collaboration with more than 500 organisations undertaking humanitarian projects.
Since the year 2000 our organisation has ceased sending medicine recovered in pharmacies and only deals with essential drugs and sanitary products delivered in the most appropriate packaging for humanitarian aid projects which we either donate to the beneficiaries of our projects, or we distribute at cost price to other non lucrative organisations.
